Events

Throughout the year, the Boys & Girls Club hosts a variety of fundraising events, not only to raise money for the Club, but to invite the community to find out more about us, and to highlight the talent and spirit of our members.

April 22, 2012

This exciting event offers guests an assortment of wines & craft beers to sample, along with an array of meats and cheeses and other appetizers - including a white chocolate fountain! Guests enjoy live music and a variety of silent auction items to bid on. All of the funds raised from this event benefit the programming and activities for the youth of the Chippewa Valley. The event is sponsored by Festival Foods, HOM Furniture, Adam Mohr, Platinum Advisor, and Ameriprise Financial.

Lemonade Day
August 9, 2012

Lemonade Day is an event that teaches kids the skills they need to be successful in the future. Youth learn to set goals, develop a business plan, establish a budget, seek investors, provide customer service, and give back to the community.

This year was the Second Annual Lemonade Day for the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley. The event was sponsored by Maverick Media, Northwestern Bank and WEAU 13 News. The Club had 12 lemonade stands throughout the community and raised nearly $6,000!

Steak & Burger Dinner
September 11, 2012

The annual Steak & Burger Dinner is a special evening where we get to showcase our members to the community. This year the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley was pleased to present the Fifth Annual Steak & Burger Dinner. Guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening of delicious food, performances from Club members, live and silent auctions and most importantly, the opportunity to get to know the members. To keep the Club’s priorities in perspective, the kids enjoy steaks, while the adults enjoy burgers. This event is sponsored by Festival Foods, Florian Gardens, HSG, United Bank and WEAU 13 News. The purpose of this event is to influence our youth to Laugh Often and Dream Big.
